Your 'shutdown' problems have nothing to do with PowerSecretary.
I've found that the MOST CRITICAL factors involved in training and using PowerSecretary are 1-the position of the microphone and 2-the consistent repositioning of the microphone. If you don't consistently position the microphone in just the right spot your experience will be frustrating. But if you do, your experience will be awe inspiring.
Last point: Don't reduce the repetitions! It will ruin your recognition %. I set mine to 4 to improve my recognition.
