: I noted that the edition of DNS that I'm using (and purchased in August 97) is marked ver 1.0 on the startup screen. Ive noted that the web page indicates that the current version is 2.02 How do I get the upgraded release? I would like to have the MS Word 97
compatibility.

I called a retailer and was told that release 2.02 was the basis of the deluxe and select versions of DNS. The only difference is the size of dictionaries and the add-ons that accompany deluxe.

Reseller also said "I'd love to help you but its Dragon's policy that there be NO UPGRADE from Naturally speaking. You can buy it for ..." How do they stay in business? IBM's product is 149 including add ons for internet and other apps.

I guess that Dragon doesn't really feel that it needs to address the issue with the current owners of DNS 1.0 because they already have our money.

Just my $0.02.
