failure to load number words

: I've upgraded to DNS-preferred 3.52. When I dictate phone numbers they appear as individual numerals separated by a space. The dragon.log file shows "failed to load numbers". I've tried to reinstall but this didn't help. Incidentally I called the support number 3 weeks ago, the technician couldn't help during a 45 minute long distance call, said a senior engineer would contact me but I STILL HAVEN"T HEARD BACK.
