controlling spacing in NaturallySpeaking

I would like to be able to control the spacing of individual words in NaturallySpeaking like I could in DragonDictate. For example, I want to change the spacing of the # so that there is no space before the # and one space after the #, which is the reverse of the default. This is easy in DragonDictate by just using the modify word window.

Can anyone help?
