Use of Naturally Speaking by someone with a speech impediment

I have a ten year old son who suffers from cerebral palsy. He is very bright and does very well in school. However, his writing is inhibited by his disability and I'm sure he would do even better in class were he able to get the full benefit of voice recognition technology using Dragon NaturallySpeaking. To date, our efforts to "train" the program have been very frustrating for him and have met with disappointing results.
Does anyone know where I can get assistance in optomizing NaturallySpeaking for my child's use? Does Dragon, or anyone else, have consultants available for this purpose?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
