I can't seem to get Dragon Naturally Speaking 2.02 (the upgrade with Corel Wordperfect 8.0) to work on my Sony Vaio 505 F. The computer comes with an internal sound card. At first I simply tried to go through the installation. I got adequate "volume" but inadequate "quality." I bought an "Auxiliary Power Source" from Andrea. No change. Then I tried changing the Multimedia setup. Now I notice for the first time an error for an incompatible sound card (the details say that 16 bit mono is not supported). At this point, I don't know if it ever worked or if I broke it. Does anyone know if this configuration should work, before I try something like the VXI translator which is "guaranteed" to work? And, of course, does the VXI translator work (guaranteed or not)? Thanks.
