: Are these programs usable for medical transcriptionists? i.e. if the dictation tapes come to me could I then dictate them into the computer using on of these programs? If so which program is the best for my computer and/or which updates should I get on my computer? I have a Hewlett Packared Pavillion 6460 Intel Celeron 400 MHz 96MB SDRAM memory 9.6 GB hard drive 32x max speed CD-rom drive, V.90 56Kbps modem 8MB ATI Pro Turbo graphicswith space for upgrades. I have Windows 98 Please help I'm trying to make the most of my time in any and all ways possible. Thank you to all that respond.
your best bet would just be dragon professional. you would listen to the tapes and 'speak' it into the computer. if the docotors have a sony MZR-50 you don't have to do anything! The sony hooks directly up to the computer and transcribes into dragon
