Voice File Conversions

I am interested in research defining conversion of various voice file formats, such as .wav, .vti, .dss, etc.,into usable formats for Dragon Dictate Professional.

I need to transcribe voice files from various PDAs with recording capabilities such as Casio E-105, Nino 510, Jordando, etc.

Any research or background experience is greatly appreciated.
