I might be repeating myself because I already sent you a reply but please bear with me. I don't know the answer to your question but you seem like someone who may have an answer to one of mine. My Mother is totally deaf and I am looking for some way to communicate with her using voice recognition (in person, not necessarily by phone). I don't know where to start.
