As a hearing impaired individual I have not yet seen what I feel is the greatest application of voice recognition technology. Has anyone yet combined voice recognition with telephones? For example a hearing impaired individual would be assisted by a scrolling readout of what the speaker has said on the other end of the line. Does this technology exist? Is it feasible?
