I have just stumbled into this area while looking for scripts for the built in apple speech recognition on my new g3, and I thought I might tell you that it does just what you are after as far as opening apps, moving files and folders etc.

Any script, alias or program that you put into the speakable items folder it will run. I just started looking at this yesterday, and in only about four hours, it will open any application I care to name out loud, tell me the time or date, close windows, move things to the desktop and the trash, empty the trash and even put itself to sleep or shutdown.

I cant believe there hasnt been more hype about this! I love it!

Does anyone know where I can get useful scripts? Id really like to be able to scroll by voice....
