Can anyone help??? everytime I try to dictate to speakpad or direct to application the system freezes, using norton antifreeze I get a report error as follows;

VTDIRECT.EXE caused fault #c 0000005 in MFC42.DLL at address 0257:5F401 ade

I have tried reinstalling software but this just does the same each time (I am running Windows 98)
