Controlling Computer with Voice

First, to the creators of this web site: BRAVO! It is a very necessary site!

Second: I am debating about which VR program to buy. I would like to do dictation, but I am more interested in controlling the computer, especially launching apps, and working Internet Explorer.

I have heard that Via Voice is very good for computer control. I have heard nothing of Kurzweil or Dragon Systems being able to do this. Are there any other VR programs out there (perhaps less well known) that are good at all the control I mentioned above?
