The Andrea ANC-300 Dual Function Hand-Held Computer Microphone was tested with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical v8. The results are as follows:
Speech to Noise ratio: 19. The initial dictation consisted of 416 words, there were 22 mistakes found, which calculates to 94.8% accuracy rate on the first round of dictation.
PROS: The Andrea ANC-300 Dual Function microphone is sold with a desktop stand which can be used for Multi-Party Conferencing. The microphone has a 3-posistion selector switch (Hand-Held, Mute & Desktop). This unit can either be used as a Hand-held microphone or a Desktop Array microphone.
CONS: Because this microphone has two modes, you will have to create two separate speech profiles within Dragon NaturallySpeaking. The Desktop mode does not offer Active Noise Canceling.
