I'm trying to decide between two Monaural microphones to use with my laptop:
VX1 TalkProUSB-100 and Andrea NC7100. I am a new voice-recognition user and will need to be using the microphone all-day at work. Any other microphones under 100 US dollars I can also consider. I'd appreciate any comments you have.

Thank you for your prompt response. Just wondering, are either of these microphones ones that bypass the laptops soundcard? I'm using a Dell with Sigma-Tel audio.

Is the TalkPro USB-100 noticeably superior to the Plantronics and Logitech digital USB headsets?

I have been using the Plantronics DSP 100 for a couple of years and I need a new headset microphone(the foam covering is falling off of the earpiece.)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Larry, I'd suggest taking a really close look at the Sennheiser headset with a USB connection. They just don't get any better.
