Is anyone doing transcription where you receive audio input and dictate simultaneously? I am wondering what you are using as a combination of headphones and mic. I've been struggling with this for a while and need to make a positive change. Currently I am using standard headphones but would be willing to make a change to something like earbuds maybe: don't know about the wearing comfort or audio input quality, which is key. Noice cancelling not an issue. But accuracy on the dictation is so important and so I need a good mic. Am considering the KnowBrainer hands free but I don't see how to make that work with headphones. Ideas?
KnowBrainer Tech Support
Although you can use a combination stereo headset like the theBoom “C”, our preference is to use a speakerless headset like the KnowBrainer Hands-free and simply add existing headset speakers which you probably already own. Nearly anything from ear buds to the new Sennheiser HD 650 (our personal favorite) should work.
