Hi
I'm making a project that consists in making the software for controling a wheelchair by voice. Me and my partner already have it praticaly done, and now we're doing the documentation, manual, reports and stuf... what I would like you to help us is indicate hadware alternatives that make recognition of voice (words) and can be used to control things like wheelchairs and robots for example...
Thanks

KnowBrainer Tech Support
You want to make sure you're using the best microphone and soundcard you can find. You have a lot of options so rather than making one specific recommendation we will simply point you to our Microphone Comparison Matrix where you can compare different styles (wireless, wired, microphones that can be fastened to a wheelchair etc.), accuracy, noise cancellation, comfort and pricing. However, if you intend to go hands-free you are going to need one final component called KnowBrainer 2007 which is normally $199 but is FREE to the physically disabled. See our What is KnowBrainer PDF file for additional information and how to apply for an NFR copy.
