We just finished testing and comparing the
Buddy, against the Andrea Electronics full-duplex USB Pod and the
VXI Pod. Although we can verify that the Buddy USB Pod has a lower noise floor and even appears to clip the high frequencies, which NaturallySpeaking doesn't need to hear, we could appreciate no difference in accuracy between the 3 USB soundcards or for that matter, when comparing them to a high end Sound Blaster card. Our recommendation would be to go with whatever is least expensive which rules out the overpriced Andrea full-duplex USB pod.
