Here in New Zealand we used to supply the Andres, then the VXi, but now we have standardised on the Buddy. It is the most compact of the USB sound cards, and although it is slightly mre expensive than the others we are now recommending it to our clients.

We just finished testing and comparing the Buddy, against the Andrea Electronics full-duplex USB Pod and the VXI Pod. Although we can verify that the Buddy USB Pod has a lower noise floor and even appears to clip the high frequencies, which NaturallySpeaking doesn't need to hear, we could appreciate no difference in accuracy between the 3 USB soundcards or for that matter, when comparing them to a high end Sound Blaster card. Our recommendation would be to go with whatever is least expensive which rules out the overpriced Andrea full-duplex USB pod.
