The VXI Blue Parrott was tested with Dragon NaturallySpeaking v8 Medical. The results were as follows.

Speech to Noise ratio: 24

The initial dictation consisted of 968 words, there were 12 mistakes found, which calculates to 98.8% accuracy on the first round of dictation.

CONS: The headset is a little bulky. If using with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, it will take approximately 35 minutes to create a profile.

Is this easily converted to use with both Dragon and the telephone? Would it be something I could use in a totally hands-free environment?

Becuase the VXI B100 is a bluetooth device, you would need to reconfigure the software each time you wanted to switch between PC use and Telephony use.

This headset performs well with cellular phones and analog phones, however, it is not fully compatible with digital phones.

I don't think this particular headset would fit your totally hands-free needs.
