Hi CB, Hope you are doing well!!!

THe Andrea 700 is a better option for people using a laptop.

The GN NETCOM 9020 is wireless headset and will work better with a pc and a good soundcard. The price is aprox. $350

Hi Krish,

When it gets down to something us poor, freezing Canadians can afford I might try one. However, I am more than willing to test the product to see if it operates properly in our climate! Seriously, colder and cleaner air just might negatively affect the product and teting should be done. For example, I just went through the experience of renting an American car and, when I opened the door, the snow on the roof fell on the driver's seat! Poor planning, but could have ben avoided with proper testing in all environs.

poor planning, sounds like most of my mornings

Pay for the shipping to Canada and back to Florida and I will do my best to send you a unit for testing.

PS It is 86 degrees here in Florida

CB, we just added the GN Netcom 9020 to our website today shop.voicerecognition.com but stick with the Andrea headset you already have, it will work better with your laptop. BTY How have you been feeling lately?

krish,
thanks for the information, and also asking about my health. For what I've got to work with, I am doing great.
Please don't tease John W. about living in that cold cold country, I'm sure he would much rather live here in beautiful Florida in order to spend more time on his boat.

Krish,

You have got a deal in spite of your unkind remarks! ;-) I will send you my address off-line.

If you must torture us by posting temperatures, please do so in Celsius. What you quoted is around 30 degrees Celsius which doesn't seem as bad!

CB,

Thanks for sticking up for me. Between Krish and Judy I need all the help I can get. ;-) And yes, you are right, I would love to be able to sail year-round!
