All vr ads I've seen offer claims of one-up-manship in memo writing, but I write proposals that are sometimes in excess of 30-45 pages long. Can vr handle documents of this length? Is one program better at it?

VR User?: about 18 years
Which Program?: DragonDictate then DNS
Why do you Use VR?: Ease, speed, and to stay current to assist disabled clients
Where are you Located: Villsge Green, PEI, Canada

I have a number of clients who use voice recognition software for large documents. For example, I have a disabled user who's dictating his way through law school. I have them dictate directly into the word processing package rather than dictating into a text box. Actually, the longer your document is, the better the software works since it learns your speech patterns.

I suggest NaturallySpeaking professional edition.

All voice recognition software programs don't have a problem with large portions of text....it's usually the PC without enough memory.

Also, dictating all those pages of text can become strainful on the voice.

For your voice's sake and your PC's it's best to dictate chunks at a time.
