All vr ads I've seen offer claims of one-up-manship in memo writing, but I write proposals that are sometimes in excess of 30-45 pages long. Can vr handle documents of this length? Is one program better at it?

I have a number of clients who use voice recognition software for large documents. For example, I have a disabled user who's dictating his way through law school. I have them dictate directly into the word processing package rather than dictating into a text box. Actually, the longer your document is, the better the software works since it learns your speech patterns.
I suggest NaturallySpeaking professional edition. Dictated with Dragon NaturallySpeaking ----------------------------------------------- John Wickett 902-566-8854 jcwicket@vac-acc.gc.ca |

All voice recognition software programs don't have a problem with large portions of text....it's usually the PC without enough memory.
Also, dictating all those pages of text can become strainful on the voice. For your voice's sake and your PC's it's best to dictate chunks at a time. [This message has been edited by Jimmy (edited 03-20-2001).] --------------------
