I need to know more about the macro features. I am thinking of purchasing dns, but I don't really need it for huge word translations. I simply want to record no more than 15 words which are attached to macros to do common tasks in certain programs.
For example, I use flash a great deal. I am forever, clicking on menus, expanding them etc. All repetivie. I simply want to say a word, and then the macro runs. Is this what dns will do. If it is, I am happy to buy it. PS I can't find any one in Austrlia that sells DNS Pro ver 6. |

Mil,please make sure that you act upon the advice of John,Grafur, and Ross before you install any voice recognition system.
I went through hell, for weeks and weeks because I believe what is printed on the box. Check and recheck everything. 512MB RAM Windows 2000 good USB microphone, if you have WINDOWS ME OR XP make sure you have a computer technician to help you install. Be prepared to spend hours training , and also be prepared to spend more money than you expected too Good luck, CB |

Mil,
For macro capability you can't beat DNS professional version 6. However, one word commands are not recommended because they can easily get confused with dictation words. The DNS works better with a two or three word command. That 2-3 word command though, can perform a multitude of functions and save you much time. With respect to purchasing the product, I would check several international sites bearing in mind the money conversion rate. If you would like to check the cost here in Canada and then convert it to your dollars, you could try sending an e-mail to cmarriot@www.talk2me.com.
