In Dragon Medical 10 (10.1) you can have Dragon type an entire phrase when you say an acronym for that phrase.

For example: You often refer to the “General Rehabilitation and Wellness Center” as the GRWC.

You want Dragon to type “General Rehabilitation and Wellness Center” whenever you say GRWC.

• On the DragonBar select Words > View/Edit
• In the Vocabulary Editor enter the phrase “General Rehabilitation and Wellness Center” in the Written Form Window.
• Then enter the letters GRWC in the Spoken Form Window.
• Click Add.
• You may see the message “The vocabulary does not contain the following word. If the word is spelled as you intended,
click OK and the program will give it an approximate pronunciation.
• Click OK.
• Now click the Train button and train the pronunciation of GRWC.
• Close the Vocabulary Editor.

Now, whenever you say GRWC in your dictation Dragon will type “General Rehabilitation and Wellness Center”.
