Hi, and a happy new year to all. A newbie here and would appreciate some help from some one, I am trying to install DNS9 standard onto my pc but every time at the end of installation i get a message that says rollback action and the green load blocks roll back, a window opens after that has a message saying:
install wizard complete the wizard was interrupted before DNS9 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified to complete installation at another time please run setup again click finish to exit wizard I have a pentium 4, with 2.8ghz, 512ddr, 160gb hard drive, 16x dvd, sound blaster 5.1 external. I have turn off the virus and firewall and closed all programs but DNS9 will not install, either on custom or typical/complete. Nuance sent a email back saying try a flat installation, which i have tried all to no avail and the last email sent to them a week ago has not been answered as yet. Any info as to what i am or am not doing wrong is very welcome. |

thanks for your reply, i have downloaded the msxml and done as per instructions, tried to install msxml but it won't, can't find it in the windows task bar search for files or folders either. I have found a folder/file on explorer but nothing in there when opened. Found it in desktop as well and when opened and click on install the options are modify, uninstall, change. I thought this should be quite easy to install but more fool me lol. Am i doing something wrong or is there a fault with the software. I have reinstalled DNS9 after reboot as instructions say.

Have downloaded the MSXML ok, & have found Msxmix.info it in the windows task bar, the "read only" boxes are unchecked. Have created the folder as well. Restarted the computer then installed DNS9 but same message returns at end of install, (HELP) any more suggestions please off anyone.
