Hello.
Is there a way to import commands (a list of commands for addresses, in my case) into a new users voice files without importing all the voice data? I think my voice files my be corrupt (see previous post) and I want to start fresh. However, I have about 80 voice commands for inserting addresses and other blocks of speech. I don't want to have to redo these manually. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Hi,
If you go to the command browser and click on Manage, once on that window you can click on the custom command you would like to export and then you'll create a DAT file that you could import into any user file by going again to the command browser and then Manage. -------------------- Mauricio Meza

In that case, I think that your primary means of recovering your existing commands will be by copying the MyCmds.dat file from your "old" user files into your new ones. By default on Windows-XP, this file is at: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking9\Users\<your user name>\current\ If you exported a user, you should be able to find the corresponding "current" directory.
