I have been trying to figure out how to move the cursor to the Internet Explorer Address Window. I would like the cursor to be in that window so that I can then speak a URL like Amazon.com in order to control Internet explorer. Does anyone know how to do this or what the command might be?

Hi Jim,

I'm sure there is a direct command for this, but not sure off the top of my head. Here is a link to the keyboard shortcuts for most of Microsoft's products (Including Internet Explorer) which can be mapped to voice commands.

Why do you Use VR?: I have an overuse injury
Where are you Located: Canberra, Australia

The command you are looking for is "Go to address". This places the cursor in the address bar and highlights the contents.

Happy surfing,
Melissa

In addition you can create shortcuts of pages you are interested in and place them in your favorites folder. Then when you place your favorites folder into your start menu you can open any of your web pages with the open command. This methodology is outlined at the following URL. It works really great! And it works with all versions of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
