VXI Blue Parrott Wireless Headset System.
Versatility and reliability allow this wireless headset system to be compatible with all cordless and corded single line analog phones, all Bluetooth compatible mobile phones (pass code set to 0000) and even your PC (you must purchase a Bluetooth adapter). Key features include: Bluetooth compatibility, flexible noise-canceling boom microphone, 128-bit encryption, headset controls that allow one to adjust volume control, answer/end call, pairing and mute. The VXI Blue Parrott was tested with Dragon NaturallySpeaking v8 Medical. The results were as follows. Speech to Noise ratio: 24 The initial dictation consisted of 968 words, there were 12 mistakes found, which calculates to 98.8% accuracy on the first round of dictation. CONS: The headset is a little bulky. If using with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, it will take approximately 35 minutes to create a profile. If you have any additional questions regarding this unit, please feel free to call. Sincerely, -------------------- Josh

Mr. Ingram,
It takes that long just with Dragon. While training, I was prompted to read the same text several times. Initially, I thought that meant my profile would be terrible, due to the amount of times I had to repeat myself. I was surprised with how accurate my recognition was after training. I spoke with Tim from VXI to discuss my evaluation, he shared that he also was prompted to repeat text several times. How odd! I suppose, to enjoy the convenience of a BlueTooth wireless headset, you will need patients during the training process. Thanks, -------------------- Josh
