Sorry to have only something negative to say today but I think the forum needs to know about my experience. I purchased an ANC-600 mic and a USB adaptor. I've had serious problems with these items such as radio interference with the mic and the USB adaptor powers down my PC. As well as working with you folks, I've been trying to get the benefit of andrea's technical expertise on their own products. I have called and emailed their technical support repeatedly over the last two months. To date, I have not even received an acknowledgement of my messages, let alone technical help. I currently am the owner of $120 worth of equipment that I cannot use or return. (That's nothing to sneeze at for someone who hasn't had a paycheck in 14 months.) I even emailed Andrea to tell them that I would put a post on this forum if they didn't at least acknowledge my message, and they still didn't reply. I wanted to buy the best I could find in the hope that it might help me to get back to work, and I know a lot of you have had great results with Andrea products. However, I wanted you to know what kind of response you can expect if you have technical problems with their products. Sorry for the downer.:-(

Thank you John, I've never been thanked for being an idiot, but it feels good. I was truly amazed the RF energy being scattered to my VCR and computer by my error in laziness, with a side helping of stupidity! The modem manufacturer said the same problem can occur if a modem goes defective, this one comes with it's own Rockwell chipset. I have no idea if it is causing Alice's problems, but something more severe than regular bleed from cables/lines seems to be going on, maybe another device has gone bad besides modem (even the USB pod she purchased), because just like with a fractured cable- it can still function and yet leak/broadcast alot of noise!

Tom, yes I am really am talking about something so dumb as switching the line in and line/phone out phone jacks! It really can be done in low light, especially after changing modems with the telephone jacks reversed, but still not much of an excuse! Sorry it took me so long to post response, but I didn't think anyone would respond to my post.

I am still typing on this board, but not for long because Ebay has brand-new full retail versions with manual and video tutorial for $140-150 complete- not an upgrade!! Thank you John for all of your info on this site, and for making me wait for the PRO 7 version, as the 7 preferred was this much OR MORE, ONE month ago!! EX-IBM owner, Mongo
